The Sensory Escape Pod is a specially engineered, portable therapeutic environment designed to provide children with autism a safe, self-regulated space for sensory calming and emotional regulation during moments of overwhelming.
Encased in a soft, padded cocoon-style structure with rounded edges and wipe clean vinyl, the pod creates an immediate sense of security and containment. Its interior is equipped with multi-sensory features that can be independently controlled by the user through large, intuitive, picture-based or touch-sensitive buttons, promoting autonomy and reducing reliance on caregivers during distress.
Key therapeutic elements include.
-Soothing LED Lighting, full spectrum, LEDs with slow colour transitions (deep blues, soft purples, warm ambers) or fixed gentle hues; brightness and colour fully adjustable by the user.
Calming Audio System, integrated high fidelity speakers delivering pre-loaded or customisable soothing music, white/pink/brown noise, nature sounds, or binaural beats; volume and selection controlled by the user.

The pod is a robust, solid-unit construction mounted on smooth rolling, lockable medical grade wheels. With a maximum width of 88 cm, it passes effortlessly through standard 90 cm interior doorways, allowing it to be wheeled directly to the child whether in a classroom, corridor, sensory room, therapy suite, clinic, hospice or hospital department, without disassembly or specialist assistance.
