About Our Oils
All our oils have been formulated to work with most nebulising scent machines (not recommended for oil diffusers)
Overview of our Scent Oils
Scent oils, commonly referred to in the context of aromatherapy and diffusion, encompass essential oils and fragrance oils. Essential oils are concentrated (not recommend for nebulising machines), volatile compounds extracted from plants through processes such as steam distillation or cold pressing. They retain the natural aromatic and therapeutic properties of the source material. Fragrance oils, (not recommend for nebulising machines), by contrast, are typically synthetic or blended compositions designed to replicate scents, often diluted with carriers for stability and consistency in applications like perfumes, candles, and room fresheners.
For use in nebulising machines (also known as nebulising diffusers), pure essential oils are strongly recommended. These waterless devices atomise undiluted oils into micro fine particles, preserving their potency without heat or dilution. Fragrance oils or those mixed with carriers may clog the device or reduce effectiveness.
Brief Formulation for Nebulising Machines
Nebulising diffusers require pure, undiluted essential oils no water, heat, or carriers are involved, as the device employs pressurised air (based on Bernoulli's principle) to disperse the oil directly.
Basic Approach: Use single essential oils or simple blends of 100% pure oils. Avoid thick or viscous oils (e.g., vetiver, sandalwood, or those diluted with jojoba/carrier oils), as they can clog the fine nozzles.
